As the cold weather sets in, I can’t help but think about all the out-of-use fireplaces all over the UK. There’s nothing like a hearty fire on a cold winter’s day – every place I’ve lived there’s been beautiful fireplaces that have been reduced to ornaments. \u00a0A great place to focus your efforts this winter is in the bedroom. Restoring your fireplace will keep you cosy throughout winter, and it means you can go to sleep with the warm glow of the fire. Most houses in the UK have a fireplace in each room, so why not start with the warmest place in the house?<\/p>\n
