Since the dawn of civilisation, people have used clay to decorate their homes and plant their flowers, fruit and vegetables.

Clay pots look beautiful inside or outside the home – to add a boho look to your living room or to liven up your outdoor space. They’e cheap and easy to get your hands on and will inspire you to get green-fingered this summer.

In the garden

Clay is so versatile, you can clutter up your garden with all different shapes and sizes for a bohemian vibe. Plant wild flowers or tomatoes in them to freshen up your outdoor space.

In the shed

You can store your potted plants in your shed over winter. This will make a usually dead space feel lively and fresh, and means you can plant other stuff during the chilly months –  take a look at some vegetables you can grow over winter.

There’s nothing like bringing the outdoors in when you need some new life in your home. A big, statement clay pot with a beautiful exotic plant will instantly add a focus to your bedroom and will be an easy new look for summer.

Clay and cacti go together like peas in a pod. You can have all different varieties and different sizes that will add interesting height and texture to your space. And they require absolutely no maintenance (cacti or clay).
