Bright Bathrooms
June 18th, 2013 by DebbieLet’s face it. Living in England, most mornings of our lives are spent shivering under the shower, hoping and praying that the sun might make an appearance today, the 19th of May. This post is dedicated to brightening up those dingy morning dips with something bright, fun and unexpected. NB: A lick of paint won’t go half as far as under-floor heating…

This beautiful bathroom goes to show that you don’t need to re-paint your entire room to add a bit of colour. A shower curtain never costs more than £40 and will bring instant colour to your washroom. You can buy the exact shower curtain here. Throw in a bright striped rug and a couple of colourful towels and accessories and your bathroom will be good as new. Source.

A lick of paint can do wonders for a slightly worn piece of furniture, and mustard and teal are my colours of choice this season.
The blue tiles look fantastic with the mustard and marble matching sink and cupboard set, however just painting the wall a similar colour will brighten up your bathroom in no time. You can find beautiful paint selections in on-trend colours at Farrow and Ball. Source.

The bathroom is a great place to add a bit of industrial chic without having to commit your entire home to the trend. The unfinished walls of this bathroom look NY-lofty enough to be cool but don’t take away from the homey setting. Teh use of colour really brightens it up and stops the room from looking too drab.
One of the main focal points of the room is the bright blue rug, the colourful towels and the yellow bin. These accessories are so simple yet really transform the room. Source.
